General Conditions and Information 

Minimum Charge

Minimum charge is two day rental.

Chauffeur Allowance

Above rates do not include chauffeur allowance, which shall  be charged at Rs.400.00 additionally.

Day Allowance

Day allowance of Rs. 200.00 is charged if the total kilometers used exceed 100 kilometers and is charged once per rental.

Free Mileage

Rates include unlimited mileage.

Gasoline

Rates do not include gasoline. However, one full tank is provided at check out to be refilled at the renter’s expense. A Rs.500.00 fueling service charges will be collected from the customer in addition to fuel cost at actual in case the customer doest not return the vehicle with a full tank.

Automatic Confirmation

Automatic confirmation for available vehicle group if requested 24 hours in advance.

Insurance

Rates include coverage of all third party liability together with cover for damage to the AVIS vehicle. In addition, the insurance covers each passenger up to a maximum of Rs. 1,00,000(Max. 3 pax in a vehicle excluding driver). Additional personal accident insurance is available at a nominal additional charge. All insurance claims are payable in local currency and in Pakistan only.

 Terms of Payment

For cash rentals, Avis shall require a deposit, which shall be determined by Avis considering the length of rental , prior to release of the vehicle and the final adjustments shall be made upon completion of the rental.

Charge Card Accepted

AVIS, American Express, VISA and Master card are accepted.

Identification Requirements

Local renters – national identification card. Foreign renters – Passport or identification card.

Other information

All time and mileage charges commence as of when the vehicle leaves the garage and conclude when the vehicle returns to the garage.

The chauffeur should be given a break for lunch and for dinner. In addition ,the chauffeur should be given a minimum break of six consecutive hours during every 24 hours on duty .This is a necessary safety requirement

 AVIS strictly prohibits any person other than their own chauffeurs from driving their vehicles.

The chauffeur will drive at a reasonable speed according to his judgment of road condition and traffic at any particular time. Under no circumstances should the chauffeur be pressured to exceed the posted speed.

 When a vehicle is rented for a week or longer period , whilst every endeavour will be made for the renter to retail the same car and driver during such periods, AVIS reserves the right to substitute any other vehicle or chauffeur according to the exigency of service.

Under no circumstances will the vehicle be driven on unpaved roads. The chauffeur has the authority to refuse requests to drive vehicle on unpaved roads.
